Bryan Danielson Wins AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament

Bryan Danielson has won the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament, meaning that Danielson will receive an opportunity at the AEW World Championship at some point in the future. The finals took place at the Full Gear pay-per-view, where Bryan defeated Miro by submission to earn the future shot at the title.

The match was hard hitting, with both men trading stiff strikes throughout. Miro used his power to his advantage, with repeated suplexes and powering out of submission attempts by Danielson. The conclusion of the match saw Bryan lock in a Guillotine to become victorious.

Bryan Danielson defeated Dustin Rhodes in the opening round and Eddie Kingston in the semi-finals to advance to Full Gear. Miro was not in the original 8 participants of the tournament, but was a replacement in the semi-finals stage, where the former TNT Champion defeated Orange Cassidy to meet Danielson in the finals. This was also the in-ring pay-per-view debut of Danielson in All Elite Wrestling, following the shock debut at the previous AEW event, All Out.

There is no current date as to when Bryan Danielson will be challenging for the AEW World Championship. However, the opponent for “The American Dragon” is now known, as “Hangman” Adam Page defeated Kenny Omega in the main event of Full Gear to become the new AEW World Champion.
