Adam Cole To Require Multiple Surgeries

Adam Cole will require multiple screws and a metal plate to heal his broken ankle.

Following Cole announcing that he will require surgery on the September 27th episode of Dynamite, more details have come to light.

Speaking on his Twitch channel, Cole confirmed the extent of his recovery process and described how much pain he is in:

“Obviously, as many people know, my ankle is broken,” Cole said. “And when it’s all said and done, when I’m eventually able to get everything all fixed, I’m going to need to get two surgeries and it will be a total of eight screws and a plate in my ankle. So, not ideal. It’s incredibly painful. It’s the most painful injury I’ve ever had.”

Cole continued to detail the impact this has had on his mental health along with the physical pain he is in:

“In speaking to doctors, just an absolute freak type of thing. Just no idea how it happened. But I’m doing my best to stay as positive as I can. Obviously, this is soul-crushing. It’s really, really a bummer. If anything it’s more painful mentally, and physically it really, really hurts as well.”

At the time of writing, Cole is still the Ring of Honor Tag Team Champion with MJF.

Features of Wrestling would like to wish Adam Cole a full and speedy recovery.
