New Women's World Champion

A new Women’s World Champion was crowned on WWE Raw.

Taking place in the main event of the April 22nd show, a battle royal saw the next champion determined following the events that took place the previous week.

Candice LeRae was eliminated first followed by Indi Hartwell, with Maxxine Dupri eliminating them both. Zoey Stark eliminated Kayden Carter and Katana Chance. Ivy Nile was eliminated next followed by Dupri. Becky Lynch eliminated Piper Niven who dragged Lynch under the bottom rope and attacked her on the outside. Niven then dragged Nia Jax outside who slammed Niven onto Lynch and later slammed Lynch through the announce table. Eliminations continued until 2 were left in the ring.

With Jax and Liv Morgan seemingly the final 2, Lynch dragged herself back into the ring. Lynch and Morgan worked together to eliminate Jax. With both women on the apron, Lynch hit a Manhandle slam onto Morgan on the apron to eliminate Morgan and become the new champion.

The victory marks Lynch’s 7th reign as Women’s Champion and her first with the new design. Lynch previously challenged Rhea Ripley for the title at WrestleMania 40 but lost to The Eradicator in the opening match.

Women’s World Championship No Longer Vacant
