Kazuchika Okada Returns To TNA In 2024

Kazuchika Okada will return to TNA for the first time since 2011.

The Rainmaker will make his return to the promotion for the first time on over a decade at the Snake Eyes pay-per-view on Sunday, January 14th.

A video package aired on the December 7th broadcast of Impact Wrestling, where Okada stated that although he has made multiple negative comments about the promotion, his time in TNA made him the man that he is today.

It is currently unknown who the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion will be facing at the upcoming event. Also announced to appear is fellow New Japan star Will Ospreay.

Kazuchika Okada Seeks Redemption

Okada’s time in TNA was not fondly remembered. Despite being regarded as one of the best wrestlers in the world today, back in 2011 The Rainmaker was given the name Okato and a character based on the infamous comic book character The Green Hornet. In 2017, Impact issued an apology to Okada for his booking within the promotion.

The announcement comes shortly after it was reported that Kazuchika Okada is set to become a free agent in early 2024.
