Gunther will break the record for the longest singular reign as Intercontinental Champion if he holds the title by the end of the show. The Ring General has one final defence of the championship as he defends against a Superstar who has already beaten him via count-out, Chad Gable.
While not officially announced, Finn Balor and Damian Priest became the new WWE Tag Team Champions at Payback by defeating Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. The victory and Rhea Ripley’s retention of the women’s title means that all members of The Judgment Day hold championships. Expect a celebration on Raw.
The current line-up for Raw is as follows:
- Gunther (c) vs. Chad Gable – Singles match for the Intercontinental Championship. If Gunther wins he will set the all-time record for singular reign with the IC Title
- The Viking Raiders vs. Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle – Tornado tag team match
