Becky Lynch loses the titles and her alliance with Trish Stratus.

The originally scheduled match was supposed to see Lynch and Lita defend the championships against Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan. However, in a backstage segment before the match began, Lita was seen injured, with Lynch suspecting that Morgan and Rodriguez were behind the assault.

Wanting to be a fighting champion, Lynch chose Stratus to be the replacement for Lita.

The closing moments of the match would see Stratus line up Morgan for the Chick Kick, but Morgan would counter this into a rollup to win the match and the championships.

After the match, Stratus would attack Lynch, laying out the now former champion before walking out of the ring.

The victory marks Morgan’s first title reign as Women’s Tag Team Champion, adding to her record along with being a former SmackDown Women’s Champion. The victory marks the second reign as tag team champion for Rodriguez, who previously held the championships with Aliyah.
