Elimination Chamber 2023 Predictions

Elimination Chamber 2023 Predictions

The 2023 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event will take place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This is the first major PLE to take place in Canada since 2009. Two Elimination Chamber matches will be taking place on the show.

Austin Theory (c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Damian Priest vs. Bronson Reed vs. Montez Ford – Elimination Chamber match for the United States Championship

The reported plan for Austin Theory is to face John Cena at WrestleMania with the title on the line. While some impressive feats of athleticism will be seen, most likely from Montez Ford, Theory will retain the championship and go on to the featured match at Mania. Expect Gargano to be eliminated early, and possibly an interference by Logan Paul to set up the other rumoured WrestleMania match between Paul and Rollins.

Winner – Austin Theory

Asuka vs. Liv Morgan vs. Natalya vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Carmella vs. Nikki Cross – Elimination Chamber match. The winner will go on to challenge for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania.

Like the men’s Chamber match, the result feels predictable. With the repackaging of Asuka at the Royal Rumble, big things seem to be on the horizon for the former Women’s Champion. Rodriguez will have a strong showing, most likely making it to the final 2. The Mania match will see Bianca Belair defend the title against Asuka.

Winner – Asuka

Edge and Beth Phoenix vs. Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley

With the main event not sending the fans home happy, this will be the feelgood moment for the Canadian crowd. Hometown heroes Edge and Beth Phoenix will win the match, also giving Dominik Mysterio his comeuppance. Balor will take the pinfall loss, leaving Ripley strong going into her title match at WrestleMania.

Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar

Each man has won a match against the other, making this the decider. With no championship implications and no clear WrestleMania direction for either man, this could go either way. With teases of a Hurt Business reunion seen on raw for the past few weeks, the faction could play a part in giving Lashley the victory in the overall series.

Winner – Bobby Lashley

Winners – Edge and Beth Phoenix

Roman Reigns (c) vs. Sami Zayn – Singles match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

Much like Drew McIntyre in Cardiff, the crowd reaction for Zayn will be strong for the challenger. With no Usos and the hometown advantage, there is possibility that the title could change hands. While a large portion of the WWE Universe wanting to see the lengthy title reign come to an end, the fans won’t be going home happy. Roman Reigns will retain the championship to go on to WrestleMania to defend against Cody Rhodes. There is a possibility that the match ends in a count out or disqualification, giving Zayn the right to also go on to Mania, but Reigns is walking out of Montreal with the title.

Winner – Roman Reigns
