The Ring of Honor World Championship will be on the line on the August 26th episode of AEW Rampage.

Champion Claudio Castagnoli came to the ring on the August 19th episode of Rampage. Castagnoli issued an open challenge for the the title, with the match taking place the following week.

The open challenge was answered by Dustin Rhodes. Castagnoli stated that as long as The Natural brings his A game, then the match is official. Rhodes gave his word that he would be in Cleveland on August 26th.

The line-up for the August 26th AEW Rampage is as follows:

• Claudio Castagnoli (c) vs. Dustin Rhodes – Singles match for the ROH World Championship.
• The Dark Order vs. The House of Black – First round match in the AEW Trios Tag Team title tournament.
