The ratings for the May 16th edition of Monday Night Raw have been published. On average, 1.736 million people watched the latest episode of WWE’s flagship show. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:
Raw has seen an increase in viewers compared to the previous week. As the May 9th edition of Raw drew an average audience of 1.652 million, the increase calculates to approximately 5.1%. 587,000 people who watched Raw were aged between 18 and 49 years old, equating to a key demographic rating of 0.45, also up from the 0.44 rating from May 9th.
As reported by ShowBuzz Daily, Raw ranked 1st overall for key demographic viewership on Monday night. As noted by Thurston, this is mainly due to there being no NBA playoffs taking place on May 16th.
Raw continued the build to the Hell in a Cell Premium Live Event by announcing a title match and a cell match for the show. This show will also be most remembered as the episode of Raw that Sasha Banka and Naomi walked out of while the show was being broadcast.
