WWE have announced that a special edition of NXT 2.0 will be taking place on May 3rd. The show will be titled “Spring Breakin'” and currently has 2 matches announced.
The first match concerns the NXT Championship. Following Bron Breakker defeating Dolph Ziggler on the Raw after WrestleMania to become a 2 time NXT Champion, Breakker’s next challenger has been decided. Joe Gacy has been targeting the champion following the victory, including kidnapping Breakker’s Hall of Fame father Rick Steiner and pushing the champion off the staging area.
The second match announced is also for a championship as the North American Title will be on the line at the Spring Breakin’ event. At NXT Stand & Deliver, Cameron Grimes was victorious in the opening ladder match to become the new North American Champion. Grimes will be defending against both former champion Carmelo Hayes and Solo Sikoa in a triple threat match on May 3rd.
