AJ Styles has reportedly signed a new contract with WWE.
In a new report published by Fightful Select, it has been revealed that the phenomenal one has re-signed with the promotion on a multi-year deal. The report also states that Styles’ contract was originally due to expire in the spring or summer, but WWE extended the contract early as the company had “expected Styles to have plenty of suitors, and we’re told that as in the case with some other big names in the company, wanted to get Styles’ deal extended before he could even hit free agency to talk to anyone else.”
The report also states the salary of the former WWE Champion in the new deal. It is being reported that AJ Styles’ new valued at $3 million a year. Sources within WWE that Fightful spoke to have said that regarding the high salary, it has been said that “he [Styles] deserved every penny,” and “would easily make that back for the company.” Along with the multi-million dollar deal, AJ Styles will receive travel benefits.
AJ Styles made his surprising debut during the 2016 Royal Rumble match to a massive ovation from the live crowd. Styles has had an impressive career in WWE so far, capturing every major championship in the promotion.
