The ratings have been revealed for the “Winter Is Coming” special edition of AEW Dynamite. On average, 948,000 people watched the latest edition of the AEW flagship show. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:
Dynamite has seen an increase in viewers compared to the previous week. As the December 8th Dynamite saw an average viewership of 872,000 people, the change in viewers calculates to approximately an increase of 8.7%.
In regards to key demographic viewership, Winter Is Coming obtained a 0.31 rating, equating to 398,000 viewers. This rating is down from the previous week’s rating of 0.33. As reported by Showbuzz Daily, Dynamite ranked 4th for key demographic viewership on Wednesday night, with NBA basketball being the top ranked show for December 15th.
Winter is coming opened with “Hangman” Adam Page defending the AEW World Championship against Bryan Danielson, with the match going to a 60 minute time limit draw.
At the end of the show, a big 6 man tag team match was announced for the following week.
