Jeff Hardy has been sent home following the events that took place at a WWE live event according to reports.
As reported by PWInsider, the incident in question took place at a WWE house show in Edinburg, Texas on December 4th. In the main event of the house show, Hardy teamed with Drew McIntyre and Xavier Woods to face The Bloodline faction of Roman Reigns and The Usos. The report states that Jeff Hardy spent the majority of the match inside the ring and was worked over by the opposing team. As the match went on, the former WWE Champion was described as being “more sluggish.” Hardy made a hot tag to Drew McIntyre and walked into the crowd. The following fan footage has been obtained from the event, which sees Jeff Hardy making the tag and exiting through the crowd, courtesy of @DeportesYLuchas:
The reports concludes by saying that despite Hardy’s team won the match, The Charismatic Enigma did not return to celebrate with McIntyre and Woods. The following night at the house show in Corpus Christi, Jeff Hardy was replaced by Rey Mysterio. It is also stated that Hardy was not present at the Corpus Christi house show.
Jeff Hardy was last seen on WWE tv on the December 3rd edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The segment saw both Hardy and McIntyre stand tall over Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss.
