The September 20th episode of Monday Night RAW will be live from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. This edition of the red brand will be the final RAW before the Extreme Rules pay per view on Sunday September 26th.
Prominently advertised for this show is Big E, who is the new WWE Champion following his successful cash-in of his Money in the Bank contract on the September 13th RAW. Big E is scheduled to be part of a segment and a match. The segment in question is a championship celebration featuring fellow New Day members Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. The Trio will also be in action in a six man tag team match, where The New Day will be facing The Bloodline faction of Roman Reigns and The Usos.
The following matches and segments are due to take place on the show:
- The New Day to host a WWE Championship celebration for new champion Big E.
- Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler.
- Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus – If Jeff Hardy is victorious, the United States Championship match at Extreme Rules will become a triple threat match.
- Natalya and Tamina (c) vs. Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley – Tag Team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
- Charlotte Flair will appear on Alexa’s playground ahead of The Queen defending her RAW Women’s Championship against Bliss at Extreme Rules.
- The New Day vs. The Bloodline – Six man tag team match.
Also, as this is the go-home RAW for Extreme Rules, expect multiple matches to be altered and have stipulations added to them. At the time of writing, all matches on the pay per view are standard matches.
