The viewership for the August 2nd edition of Monday Night RAW has been revealed. The show averaged 1.821 million viewers over the course of the 3 hour show. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston at Wrestlenomics:
The rating is an increase from the previous week. The July 26th edition of the red brand drew 1.814 million viewers, meaning that the August 2nd show has seen an increase of 0.04%.
In regards to key demographic numbers, an increase has also been seen. The August 2nd RAW obtained a 0.51 in the key 18-49 viewership, up from the previous week’s number of 0.49.
The biggest talking point from the show was the WWE Championship match announcement. Bobby Lashley will defend his title against Goldberg at SummerSlam on August 21st.
The main event of the show was a No Holds Barred match between RAW Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H. and Charlotte Flair. The almost superhero defeated one of her SummerSlam challengers to close out the show.
