WWE star Xavier Woods is set to remain with the company for the foreseeable future as he has signed a new deal.
On October 7, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Woods had recently been in negotiations with the company that resulted in him signing a multi-year extension. Fightful also adds that Woods’ deal was up in September 2025, but both parties were able to come to terms on a new deal. It was also noted that the new contract was finalised very close to the expiration, as it was finalised back in September.
Debuting on WWE’s main roster back in 2013, Woods has found major success in the tag team division by teaming with Kofi Kingston and Big E as part of The New Day. Along with capturing the Tag Team Championships 13 times with the group, Woods also won the 2021 King of the Ring Tournament. Currently, Woods is still teaming with Kofi Kingston on WWE TV as part of The New Day, with Grayson Waller also being recruited into the faction.
Woods is also the creator and main host of the YouTube channel UpUpDownDown, which now has more than 2 million subscribers.
Xavier Woods Issues Statement On New WWE Deal
Shortly after news broke that Woods had re-signed with the company, the former Tag Team Champion stated on social media that although he was surprised that the news got out, he did confirm that the report was true:
How do yall know this stuff? I didnt say anything! But yes. You’re gonna see my sexy face for a while longer even though you dont deserve it.
