Multiple reports have indicated where WWE WrestleMania 42 will take place in 2026.
With the 2025 Royal Rumble now in the books, all eyes are on Las Vegas as the countdown to WrestleMania 41 begins. While fans are getting ready for Jey Uso vs. Gunther and what will be John Cena’s final Mania match, many are also eagerly awaiting an official announcement as to when and where the next WrestleMania will take place. Although most are expecting the show to remain in North America given the history of the event, fans in markets such as the UK continually hold out hope that Mania could come to their country.
As first reported by WrestleVotes, New Orleans looks set to host the show for a third time in 2026, with an announcement expected before WrestleMania 41:
Sources indicate WWE is planning on announcing WrestleMania 42’s location prior to this year’s event, with the highly speculated New Orleans, LA, as the host city. The Superdome (Silverdome, brother)—home of WM 30 & 34—is set to host its third Mania in 2026.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has also corroborated the WrestleVotes report, adding that New Orleans 2026 has been the plan “for years.”
New Orleans first hosted the biggest show of the year back in 2014 with WrestleMania 30. Regarded as one of the best shows in history, the main event saw Danial Bryan triumph over Batista and Randy Orton, winning the WWE Championship in the main event. However, WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans was not as well received, which saw another match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns headline the show.
What About A UK WWE WrestleMania?
With New Orleans looking to be an inevitability at this point, fans in the UK will have to wait at least another year to see if WWE will ever bring the biggest show to the country. As noted in the Fightful Select report, the earliest that a WrestleMania would take place in the UK or even Saudi Arabia would be in 2028.
