Sonya Deville and Toni Cassano have tied the knot.
WWE Superstar Deville and fitness model Cassano got married on February 10th in New Jersey in a ceremony officiated by Maria Menounos. The wedding and photos were exclusively reported by People Magazine, which also stated that the intimate ceremony had 140 guests in attendance which also included fellow WWE Superstars.
Deville and Cassano’s daughters were also a part of the ceremony, with Giovanna playing Cassano down the aisle and Valentina being in charge of the rings.
Speaking with People Magazine, Deville was overjoyed that Menounous could be a part of the big day:
“Maria and her husband Keven [Undergaro] have been a huge part of my life. They’re the reason I’m in the WWE — they introduced me to that whole world,” Berenato says. “They were my mentors back when I was 20 years old bartending in Los Angeles, so they’ve been with me the entire ride.”
The confirmed wrestlers that were in attendance were Charlotte Flair and Andrade, Bayley, Montez Ford and Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, McKenzie Mitchell, Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green, Mandy Rose, and WWE commentator Vic Joseph. Belair served as flower girl for the ceremony.
In a statement to People Magazine, Deville expressed her love to Cassano on the big day:
“She really is just my ride or die. She’s by my side no matter what.”
Sonya Deville Recovering From Injury
Sonya Deville was last seen on WWE TV in July 2023. Deville, who was one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champion at the time, was sidelined with injury due to suffering a torn ACL. In a statement on social media, Deville joked that the Tag Team Championships were cursed as multiple stars who have held the titles have suffered injuries. Deville is still on the road to recovery.
