WWE Raw star Chad Gable has provided more information on the injury that has kept him out of action until further notice.
Appearing at a Minnesota Twins game on July 27, Gable confirmed that he is dealing with a rotator cuff injury. Gable was upbeat about the injury, stating that although he is out of action right now, he does get to spend more time with his family as a result of what happened:
“I’m looking at the silver lining here. I have a little injury to my rotator cuff. But what it did do was buy me some time off the road to be home with my family and do stuff like this, go to a baseball game on a Sunday which I never get to do. So find the bright side, right?”
Gable underwent surgery back in June after being written off TV following an attack by Penta.
Chad Gable Continues Recovery As WWE Plans Change
Prior to being written off TV, Gable was the leader of the American Made faction, which also consisted of The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile. Additionally, Gable was believed to be the wrestler who portrayed the original El Grande Ameriano character, who debuted earlier in the year and has competed at multiple WWE shows, including WrestleMania 41, defeating Rey Fenix on night one. With Gable out of action, fans were curious as to what this meant for the future of the character.
Shortly after Gable’s hiatus began, El Grande Americano appeared onscreen, albeit much taller. Raw star Ludwig Kaiser is believed to be the one now playing the character moving forward.
Features of Wrestling would like to wish Chad Gable a full and speedy recovery.
