The next episode of WWE SmackDown has been pre-taped.
Due to the roster travelling to Japan for a series of live events at the end of July, the July 26th episode of SmackDown has been recorded ahead of time. The tapings took place after the July 19th episode of SmackDown went off the air in Omaha, Nebraska. Those in attendance were able to provide results to the matches that took place at the taping. The results have been obtained via F4WOnline.
The Following Results Took Place At The WWE SmackDown Taping:
- LA Knight defeated Santos Escobar — United States Champion & Knight’s SummerSlam opponent Logan Paul attacked Knight after the match.
- A-Town Down Under’s Grayson Waller & Austin Theory had an in-ring promo segment with boxer Terence Crawford. Crawford knocked out Theory.
- Queen of the Ring Nia Jax & Money in the Bank winner Tiffany Stratton defeated WWE Women’s Champion Bayley & Michin
- The Bloodline won a gauntlet match to become number one contenders to the WWE Tag Team titles in a bout also featuring The Street Profits, Legado Del Fantasma, The OC, Baron Corbin & Apollo Crews, and Pretty Deadly.
The next live episode of SmackDown will take place on August 5th and will be the go-home episode for SummerSlam and will air live in Cleveland, Ohio.
