The final WWE SmackDown before Money in the Bank, with another appearance by John Cena and more!
Ahead of his tag team match at the Premium Live Event, John Cena made his latest appearance on the retirement tour. Alongside Logan Paul, the WWE Champion met face to face with Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes once again.
As this was the final SmackDown before Money in the Bank, all 12 participants in the respective ladder matches appeared live. Additionally, a tag team match took place that saw Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss and Stephanie Vaquer team up to take on Giulia, Roxanne Perez and Naomi.
Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett were the announce team for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE SmackDown:
- Seth Rollins officially kicked off the show and promised that he would win the briefcase and have control over the entire industry. Rollins referenced the OTC chants before getting back to his promo, stating that no one is safe from him and his faction, regardless of which brand they are on. Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo interrupted and the groups faced off without physicality.
- Jimmy Uso defeated JC Mateo after Mateo collided into Jacob Fatu.
- Zelina Vega defeated Piper Niven.
- LA Knight vs. Aleister Black ended in DQ when Seth Rollins delivered a stomp to Knight. Black attempted to stop the post-match beatdown but was hit with a spear by Bron Breakker.
- Tiffany Stratton stated that she was ready for whoever won the Money in the Bank briefcase.
- Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss and Stephanie Vaquer defeated Naomi, Roxanne Perez and Giulia. Naomi left the match mid-way.
- Penta and Andrade defeated The Creeds. Seth Rollins and his crew attacked Penta and Andrade after the match.
- Logan Paul attacked Jey Uso. John Cena hit Cody Rhodes with an AA. Cena also referenced the “We want Truth” chants by stating they couldn’t handle the truth.
