The first WWE SmackDown since the Royal Rumble took place on February 6 with the fallout from the show continuing to take place.
With Men’s Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns choosing CM Punk as his WrestleMania opponent, all eyes are now on Drew McIntyre as the WWE Champion awaits his next challenger. McIntyre successfully retained the title over Sami Zayn at Royal Rumble.
Additionally, Women’s Royal Rumble Liv Morgan appeared live as she continues to debate which champion she will face at WrestleMania 42 later in the year.
Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett were on commentary for the show.
WWE SmackDown Results February 6:
- Following a recap of the Royal Rumble, Drew McIntyre attempted to make his entrance, but was attacked by Cody Rhodes. Following a brawl between the 2 that was separated by security, Rhodes made his way to the ring and cut a passionate promo about being eliminated from the Royal Rumble. Rhodes promised to take the title from McIntyre at WrestleMania.
- Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY defeated Giulia and Kiana James to retain the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
- Carmelo Hayes defeated The Miz to retain the United States Championship.
- Tiffany Stratton defeated Lash Legend and Chelsea Green to qualify for the Elimination Chamber.
- Kit Wilson appeared live and spoke about toxic masculinity. After laying out an open challenge, Wilson was squashed by Oba Femi.
- McIntyre once again tried to address the fans, but this time was attacked by Jacob Fatu.
- Tama Tonga defeated Shinsuke Nakamura.
- Women’s Royal Rumble winner appeared live and looked to address who her Mania opponent would be, but Raquel Rodriguez took the mic from her. Before Rodriguez could speak, Jade Cargill’s music cut her off. Jordynne Grace also interrupted and a tag team match was made. Grace and Cargill defeated Morgan and Rodriguez.
- Randy Orton defeated Aleister Black and Solo Sikoa to qualify for the Men’s Elimination Chamber.
