WWE SmackDown aired live in Berlin, Germany on August 30th.
Presenting the final build to Bash in Berlin, the show focused on the final build to the upcoming Premium Live Event. Additionally, 2 title matches took place in the opening match and the main event with LA Knight and Nia Jax defending their respective championships. More than 12,000 fans were in attendance.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE SmackDown:
- LA Knight opened the show with an open challenge for the United States Championship, which was answered by Ludwig Kaiser. Knight defeated Kaiser to retain the title.
- Los Garza defeated Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews. Antos Escobar took out Corbin to help Angel and Berto win.
- A Bloodline video package aired, confirming a 3-way tag team match for next week between the tag team champions, DIY and The Street Profits.
- Nick Aldis oversaw the face-to-face between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. Rhodes brought up the closing angle from the previous week and if Owens would actually betray him. Owens stated he didn’t need the cheap shot as there was a knee injury on Rhodes, which was denied. Rhodes questioned if Owens was mentally ready and if they would be friends after. Owens whispered something in Rhodes’s ear and stormed off.
- Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin met backstage and argued with A-Town Down Under. Austin Theory questioned if he and Grayson Waller are still good, to which Waller said they were.
- Carmelo Hayes defeated Andrade. Their series is now even at 2-2
- Nia Jax defeated Michin in a street fight to retain the WWE Women’s Championship. Tiffany Stratton attempted to cash-in/help Jax but was caught and chased off by Bayley.
