More Superstars qualified for Money in the Bank on WWE SmackDown.
With the massive Premium Live Event taking place on Saturday, July 3rd, more spots filled up for each of the respective ladder matches on SmackDown. Additionally, with Jacob Fatu making his shock arrival on the June 21st SmackDown, the newest member of The Bloodline was officially acknowledged on the show.
The show aired live from WWE’s spiritual home of Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE SmackDown:
- The show opened with a recap of Jacob Fatu’s arrival before Heyman met Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa in the parking lot. The Bloodline made their way to the ring without Fatu but the big screen showed the arrival of Randy Orton, Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes. A brawl ensued with Rhodes, Orton and Owens standing tall before Nick Aldis made his way to the ringside area with security. The Babyfaces beat up security before being eventually escorted out of the arena
- Tiffany Stratton defeated Jade Cargill and Candice LeRae to qualify for Money in the Bank
- LA Knight defeated Logan Paul and Santos Escobar to qualify for Money in the Bank
- WWE aired a video package to pay tribute to Sika Anoa’i, who sadly passed away earlier in the week
- Naomi defeated Indi Hartwell and Blair Davenport to qualify for Money in the Bank
- The Bloodline presented an acknowledgement ceremony where Heyman was expected to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as the new Tribal Chief. Heyman refused and was attacked by The Bloodline, including Jacob Fatu, and Heyman was driven through the announce table.
