A massive face-to-face and more on WWE SmackDown.
With WrestleMania approaching fast, Cody Rhodes made the trip to SmackDown to confront Roman Reings ahead of their monumental rematch in Philadelphia. Additionally, Rey Mysterio attempted to get retribution on Santos Escobar and multiple tag teams attempted to advance to the six-pack ladder match at WrestleMania with the Tag Team Championships on the line.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE SmackDown:
- Santos Escobar defeated Rey Mysterio thanks to interference from Dominik Mysterio
- Austin Theory and Grayson Waller defeated The OC to advance in the WrestleMania Tag Team Tournament
- Iyo Sky defeated Naomi. Belair attempted to save Naomi from a post-match attack but Damage CTRL stood tall
- The Street Profits defeated AOP to advance in the WrestleMania Tag Team Tournament
- Jade Cargill was officially announced as a member of the SmackDown roster
- AJ gave an interview from his home. LA Knight turned up to Styles’ and a brawl ensued. LA Knight was arrested.
- Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes met face-to-face in the main event. Reigns refused a handshake from Rhodes and made his way out of the ring. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso made their way to the ringside area despite the fact that they said they would not. Anticipating the trap, Jey Uso and Seth Rollins made their way to ringside to even the odds. A staredown closed out the show.
