WWE SmackDown suffers due to channel change.
As reported by Wrestlenomics, the October 27th episode drew an average audience of 1.145 million viewers and obtained an 18-49 rating of 0.35.
Compared to the October 27th episode, which drew an average audience of 2.254 million, the drop in viewers calculates to approximately 49%. The 18-49 rating also saw a significant dip as the October 20th episode drew a better 0.59 rating.
The reason for the sharp drop in viewers was due to the World Series. As baseball took precedence over WWE, SmackDown was bumped off of FOX and onto FS1, which historically always causes a big dip in ratings.
