A steel cage match, Money in the Bank qualifiers and more are set for the September 25 edition of WWE SmackDown.
Trick Williams won back the US Championship from Baron Corbin at Sunday Night’s Main Event. Williams earned the opportunity following Lil Yachty surviving five minutes with Corbin. The rivalry will come to an end on SmackDown as Williams will face Corbin one more time with the title on the line. However, this time around, both men will be locked inside a steel cage.
There are now limited spots in the Money in the Bank matches on October 10. Two more qualifiers have been announced for the show. Finn Balor, CM Punk, Gunther, Giulia, Lash Legend and Charlotte Flair are all looking to secure their spot at the PLE on SmackDown.
Currently, Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams and Penta have qualified for the Men’s match. Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacey Jayne and Roxanne Perez have qualified for the Women’s match.
September 25 WWE SmackDown Line-Up:
- Men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match: Finn Balor vs. CM Punk vs. Gunther
- Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match: Giulia vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Lash Legend
- Trick Williams (c) vs. Baron Corbin – Steel cage match for the United States Championship
