WWE SmackDown Preview October 16

A grudge match, the Money in the Bank fallout continues and more on the October 16 edition of WWE SmackDown.

At Money in the Bank, Tiffany Stratton won the briefcase for the second time in her career, meaning she has a guaranteed opportunity at a championship of her choosing. Much like Mr. Money in the Bank Penta, it is expected that we will hear from Stratton on the show.

Although Nikki Bella and Paige were allies when the British star made her return, Bella has since turned her back on Paige. Following repeated wars of words backstage and things getting personal between the former allies, both women will face off on next week’s show. Additionally, former Men’s Tag Team Champions Damian Priest and R-Truth are set to go one on one.

On the October 9 episode, Cody Rhodes interrupted the show and demanded that Randy Orton face him. Nick Aldis informed Rhodes that Orton was not there that night, and that he was trying to avoid the chaos. It was later announced that Orton would be appearing on next week’s show, where he will go face-to-face with The American Nightmare.

October 16 WWE SmackDown Line-Up:

• Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton will go face-to-face
• Paige vs. Nikki Bella
• Damian Priest vs. R-Truth
• The fallout from Money in the Bank continues
