A huge title match, Elimination Chamber fallout continues and more on the March 6 episode of WWE SmackDown.
The main event of Elimination Chamber saw Randy Orton emerge the victor, meaning that he will go on to fight for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42. However, Orton now has to wait and see who the champion will be. After Drew McIntyre interfered in the match, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis informed McIntyre that he would have to put his title on the line against Rhodes just a few weeks out from Mania.
As Rhea Ripley won the Women’s Chamber match, she will face Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42. Expect to hear from Ripley and Cargill on the show.
After Nia Jax and Lash Legend defeated Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships, the new champions are looking to celebrate. Jax and Legend are scheduled to appear live on the show to address their victory.
In the Men’s tag team division, new number one contenders will be crowned for the SmackDown titles, which are currently held by the MFTs. It is currently unknown how the new contenders will be determined or which teams will be fighting it out for a shot at the gold.
