WWE SmackDown airs live from Lyon, France.
For the first time ever, a WWE TV taping will air live in the country and will be the go-home show for the Backlash Premium Live Event, which will air in the same building the next night.
A title match will be taking place on the show as the WWE Tag Team Championships are on the line. With The Street Profits the number one contenders to the titles, they will challenge A-Town Down Under on SmackDown.
On the April 26th SmackDown, Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles signed the contract to make their match at Backlash official. Rhodes and Styles will meet face-to-face one more time on SmackDown to each present the final build to their match, which is very likely to be the main event.
Facing off against The Bloodline at Backlash, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton will team up once again. Also making history in Lyon, Orton and Owens will present the first-ever RKO Show on SmackDown.
