The final build to the Royal Rumble, a major face-to-face, a title match and more have been announced for WWE SmackDown.
With the Royal Rumble taking place the next day, SmackDown will focus on the final build to the Premium Live Event. LA Knight is one of 3 Superstars who is challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Championship. To build momentum to the big match, Knight will face off against Solo Sikoa on SmackDown.
Damage CTRL have made their intentions clear that they want every member to hold championships. On the January 19th SmackDown, Asuka and Kairi Sane confronted Women’s Tag Team Champions Kayden Carter and Katana Chance. The Kabuki Warriors will get their title shot on SmackDown.
On January 12th, the match between Austin Theory and Carmelo Hayes was brought to an end prematurely due to injury concerns. With both stars cleared to compete, the match will be taking place on SmackDown.
