Roman Reigns and The Rock return to WWE SmackDown.
With the dust finally settling on the chaotic WrestleMania press conference, which saw Cody Rhodes make his choice for the event, Rock and Reigns were irate with what took place. With Rock demanding that Triple H fix the situation, Paul Levesque would follow up on February 9th by saying that nothing would change in regards to Reigns’ Mania match. The Rock and Roman Reigns will appear live on SmackDown.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, an Elimination Chamber qualifying match has been changed. Shotzi, who was scheduled to face Tiffany Stratton, suffered a serious injury at an NXT taping and is not cleared to compete. It was later announced by Nick Aldis that Alba Fyre would be Shotz’s replacement in the match.
With each respective Elimination Chamber filling up, multiple qualifying matches will take place on the show as multiple Superstars look to secure a top match at WrestleMania.
With the upcoming Australian Premium Live Event taking place on February 24th, the go-home episode of SmackDown will be taped directly after the February 16th episode goes off the air.
