Live from Perth, Australia, the October 10 edition of WWE SmackDown presented the final build to Crown Jewel, which will air in the same city the following night.
Two title matches were booked for the show ahead of time as Sami Zayn defended the US Championship in an open challenge, and The Wyatts put their Tag Titles on the line against The Street Profits. Additionally, Cody Rhodes appeared live to kick off the show.
Michael Cole and Wade Barrett were on commentary for the show.

- Following introductions and recaps, Cody Rhodes officially kicked off the show. Rhodes got a great reception from the live fans before addressing his match against Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel. Rhodes questioned if Rollins has what it takes to actually beat him, which eventually led to a “Rollins is a wanker” chant from the live fans. After Wade Barrett confirmed what the fans were saying, Rhodes got back to business and promised he would remain the QB and the dominant champion at Crown Jewel.
- Cody Rhodes then met with Jacob Fatu backstage. Fatu stated that he wanted a future shot at the title after Crown Jewel, which Rhodes seemed open to. After Rides left, Drew McIntyre attacked Fatu backstage.
- Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the United States Championship ended in DQ when Nakamura was attacked by a returning Tama Tonga. Talla Tonga, Tonga Loa and JC Mateo all made their way into the ring alongside Tama Tonga, leading to all 4 attacking Zayn and Nakamura.
- Nick Aldis announced that Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu would take place next week on SmackDown.
- Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer defeated Giulia and Kiana James.
- Zaria and Sol Ruca were confronted by Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Flair and Bliss agreed to put their Women’s Tag Team Championships on the line at a later date.
- The Wyatt Sicks defeated The Street Profits to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships. Solo Sikoa and the MFTs confronted the champions after the match, but no physicality ensued.
- Aleister Black defeated Damian Priest in a last man standing match. After Zelina Vega delayed Priests’ attacks, Black hit a fireball onto Priest followed by a Black Mass to win the match.
