The match order for the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event has been revealed.
As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select and Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the show will be bookended by the Rumble matches. The Women’s match will open the show, and the Men’s match will headline the event. While the World Title match has previously headlined the event in the past, the Men’s Rumble has traditionally been the final match of the show more often than not. On the pre-show, it was revealed that Bron Breakker will be the number 2 entrant in the match. The information was revealed when Paul Heyman had a verbal altercation with Adam Pearce on the kickoff show.
In terms of the other 2 matches, AJ Styles’ career-threatening match will be on second, with Drew McIntyre defending his WWE Championship against Sami Zayn going on second last. With this in mind, it is possible that any of the 4 names mentioned could make their return later in the night. Back in 2022, Brock Lesnar went on to win the Royal Rumble after he lost the WWE Championship earlier in the show.
WWE Royal Rumble 2026 Match Order:
- Women’s Royal Rumble match
- Gunther vs. AJ Styles – If AJ Styles loses then he must retire
- Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Sami Zayn – Singles match for the WWE Championship
- Men’s Royal Rumble match
