For the 38th time, the WWE Royal took place to kick off the road to WrestleMania.
Airing live from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, over 60,000 fans were packed into the home of the Indianapolis Colts to witness the first Premium Live Event of 2025.
Along with the iconic Royal Rumble matches that saw one man and one woman guaranteed a title match at WrestleMania 41, the show also saw the Undisputed Championship defended in a ladder match and the WWE Tag Team Championships defended in a 2 out of 3 falls match. Ahead of time, 18 men and 14 women were confirmed as entrants in the match. With surprise entries, returns and a surprise winner in the Men’s match, the show saw Charlotte Flair and Jey Uso win their respective Royal Rumble matches and surprise appearances from the likes of Alexa Bliss, Nikki Bella, Joe Hendry and AJ Styles.
Michael Cole, Pat McAfee and Wade Barrett were the commentary team for the show.

- Charlotte Flair won the Women’s Royal Rumble by last eliminating Roxanne Perez
- #DIY defeated The Motor City Machine Guns 2-1 in a 2 out of 3 falls match for the WWE Tag Team Championships
- Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens in a ladder match to retain the Undisputed Championship
- Jey Uso won the Men’s Royal Rumble by last eliminating John Cena
