WWE has officially unveiled the set for WrestleMania 40.
On WWE’s YouTube channel, Kayla Braxton and Jackie Redmond were at Lincoln Financial Feild to present the stage for what could be the biggest WrestleMania in history. With a giant XL and paying homage to the Philadelphia Eagles with a green colour scheme, the show is big in more ways than one!
Which Matches Have Been Announced For WrestleMania 40?
Taking place on April 6th and April 7th, 13 matches have been confirmed for the event. The announced line-up for the show is as follows:
Saturday:
- The Rock and Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins – If Rock and Roman win, Rhodes will face Reigns on night 2 under Bloodline rules.
- Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Becky Lynch – Singles match for the Women’s World Championship
- Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn – Singles match for the Intercontinental Championship.
- Jimmy Uso vs. Jey Uso
- Finn Balor and Damian Priest (c) vs. DIY vs. The New Day vs. The Awesome Truth vs. A-Town Down Under vs. New Catch Republic – Six-Pack ladder match for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships
- Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair and Naomi vs. Asuka, Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai
- Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee vs. Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar
Sunday:
- Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes – Singles match for the WWE Undisputed Championship
