WWE Raw Results September 22: The Fallout From Wrestlepalooza

The first WWE Raw since Wrestlepalooza took place on September 22, with the show heavily focusing on what took place at the Premium Live Event.

At Wrestlepalooza, Stephanie Vaquer won the vacant Women’s World Championship and World Champion Seth Rollins lost his match as he teamed with Becky Lynch against CM Punk and AJ Lee. With Crown Jewel set to be the next major show on October 11, Vaquer and Rollins are set to take on the champions of SmackDown on the show. With just 3 weeks to go until the Australian PLE, the build began on Raw.

WWE Raw Results September 22:

  • Following a video recapping Wrestlepalooza, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes officially kicked off the show. World Heavyweight Champion and Rhodes’ Crown Jewel opponent Seth Rollins interrupted, and both men spoke about their upcoming match. Following a back-and-forth, Rhodes left without any physicality.
  • Jimmy Uso stated that he wanted a rematch with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, but Jey Uso booked himself in a match against LA Knight instead.
  • Penta and The War Raiders defeated The New Day and Grayson Waller in a no DQ match.
  • JD McDonagh was goaded by The Judgement Day in accepting a match with Rusev, which was later made official.
  • Lra Valkyria tried to apologise to Bayley for what happened the previous week, but Bayley stated that she had no memory of what happened.
  • Stephanie Vaquer celebrated becoming the new Women’s World Champion, with it being confirmed that she would face the WWE Women’s Champion at Crown Jewel.
  • Bayley defeated Roxanne Perez. After the match, Valkyria tried to celebrate with Bayley, but was shoved to the mat.
  • Rusev defeated JD McDonagh with The Accolade, and refused to let go of the hold after the match. Dominik Mysterio would not make the save, but Finn Balor did, leading to him blasting the Intercontinental Champion for his actions.
  • Jey Uso defeated LA Knight. Knight was attacked by The Vision after the match, with Jey refusing to help, but Jimmy Uso did.
  • Rhea Ripley defeated Asuka. After the match, Asuka hit Ripley with the blue mist, leading to IYO SKY making the save, who was also attacked by Asuka and Kairi Sane.
