The fallout from Backlash, CM Punk appeared live and more took place on the latest episode of WWE Raw.
WWE Backlash saw Gunther defeat Pat McAfee, Lyra Valkyria retain the Women’s Intercontinental Championship and Dominik Mysterio retain the Men’s Intercontinental Championship. The events of the show were addressed on Raw.
Additionally, CM Puk appeared live to address what’s next for him, and IYO SKY teamed up with Rhea Ripley to take on Giulia and Roxanne Perez.
Michael Cole and Pat McAfee were the announce team for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE Raw:
- After a tribute graphic for Sabu was shown, a video package aired showing the events of last week, which saw Jey Uso attacked by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker before Sami Zayn and CM Punk made the save.
- CM Punk officially opened the show. Punk addressed what has taken place over the past few weeks and called out Paul Heyman. The Wiseman, Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker eventually appeared and beat down Punk, leading to Uso and Zayn making the save. It was later announced that CM Punk and Sami Zayn would take on Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
- Penta defeated Chad Gable.
- The Creed Brothers defeated The War Raiders.
- Jey Uso appeared live and spoke about his upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match against Logan Paul at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Gunther interrupted and let Uso know that he would challenge whoever is the champion on the June 9th Raw.
- AJ Styles defeated Finn Balor.
- Becky Lynch spoke about her loss to Lyra Valkyria at Backlash. Lynch promised to continue holding down her peers and rise to the top.
- Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY defeated Giulia and Roxanne Perez.
