The final WWE Raw before SummerSlam took place on July 27, with a title match, a weigh-in and more!
One of the most anticipated matches for SummerSlam will see Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi collide one more time. However, unlike their previous encounters, this match will take place inside Hell in a Cell. Lesnar and Femi will appear live for a weigh-in on Raw, which will be moderated by Triple H.
Additionally, Sol Ruca put her Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against Raquel Rodriguez.
Earlier in the day, WWE announced the day split for SummerSlam.
WWE Raw Results July 27:
- The Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi weigh-in kicked off the show. Femi weighed in at 302 pounds, while Paul Heyman said his client weighed 303 pounds. Femi took out security to close out the segment.
- The Vision defeated Alpha Academy. The heels beat down Otis and Akira Tozawa after the match, with Theory hitting Otis with a chair shot.
- Je’Von Evans defeated Rusev.
- Danhausen and Joe Hendry had their concert. Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh and boxer Ryan Garcia interrupted. Hendry was blasted with his guitar. Danhausen was also beaten down by the heels.
- Ethan Page defeated Rey Mysterio.
- The Usos hyped SummerSlam until Solo Sikoa and LA Knight interrupted. A brawl ensued until Jacob Fatu got involved. Royce Keys made the save for his SummerSlam team.
- Raquel Rodriguez defeated Sol Ruca to become the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Rodriguez won the match thanks to interference from The Judgment Day.
- Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns had their face-to-face in the main event of the show. Rollins said that Reigns has it all, but he can’t claim that he is better at wrestling than he is. Rollins forced Reigns to lose his cool and attack him with a spear and a Superman punch. Rollins hit a stomp on the chair to close out the show.
