WWE Raw Results January 26: The Final Show Before Royal Rumble

The go-home Raw for the Royal Rumble took place on January 26, with new number one contenders crowned and more!

With multiple teams vying to take on The Usos for the World Tag Team Championships, a 4-way match took place to crown their next challenger. Additionally, Bron Breakker returned from suspension following an altercation with General Manager the previous week.

This was also the first show since Saturday Night’s Main Event, which saw AJ Styles pick up a win over Shinsuke Nakamura on the road to what could be his final match at the Royal Rumble, as he will put his career on the line against Gunther.

Due to the ongoing adverse weather conditions in North America, Alicia Taylor was unable to make the show, so Lilian Garcia filled in for the night.

WWE Raw Results January 26:

• AJ Styles opened the show and said that there was no reason why 2026 couldn’t be the year of The Phenomenal One. CM Punk interrupted and laid down the challenge to face him later in the night with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line.
• Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY and Stephanie Vaquer defeated Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez.
• Adam Pearce apologised to Bron Breakker, and informed The Vision that they would all be in the Royal Rumble on Saturday. Pearce also let Austin Theory know that he had a match against Rey Mysterio.
• Austin Theory defeated Rey Mysterio.
• Natakya spoke about her heel turn the previous week. Nataly said that Maxxine Dupri had failed her and that she would be coming after Becky Lynch. Nattie ended the promo by saying, “Natalya elevates, but Nattie decimates.”
• Michael Cole sat down with Gunther, who said that he is tied of the old guys taking all the spots, and wanted to hear Cole say that Styles’ career is over on Saturday.
• Alpha Academy defeated the Creed Brothers, New Day, and Los Americanos to become the new number one contenders to the World Tag Team Championships.
• Becky Lynch declared for the Royal Rumble.
• AJ Styles vs. CM Punk ended in a no contest when Finn Balor attacked the champion.
