The final WWE Raw before Christmas.
With Seth Rollins and CM Punk set to collide on the Raw on Netflix premiere, Rollins sat down for a backstage interview with Jackie Redmond to discuss the upcoming bout. Additionally, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston finally addressed their betrayal of Big E that led to the implosion of The New Day.
It should be noted that this episode of Raw was taped ahead of time to give the wrestlers and staff time off for the holidays. The next live broadcast will be the December 27th episode of SmackDown.
Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett were the commentary team for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE Raw:
- Drew McIntyre opened the show and explained why he has been attacking Sami Zayn and The Usos, referencing his previous interview on Busted Open Radio and how Roman Reigns and CM Punk are the real viallains. Zayn interrupted and a brawl ensued, setting up a match for the main event
- Iyo Sky defeated Alba Fyre and Natlay to advance in the Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament
- Chad Gable defeated Akira Tozawa. Gable wouldn’t let go of the submission hold after the bell until Otis showed up
- Damian Priest defeated Dominik Mysterio by disqualification after Priest was attacked by The Judgment Day. The War Raiders made the save
- Dexter Lumis defeated The Miz via disqualification due to The Final Testament attacking Lumis. The Wyatt Sicks made the save
- Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods attempted to address their betrayal of Big E but were once again booed out of the arena
- Drew McIntyre defeated Sami Zayn. McInyte kept the beatdown going after the bell until Jey Uso made the save. The New Bloodline beat down Zayn and Uso to close out the show.
