WWE Raw Results August 4

The fallout from SummerSlam and more took place on the August 4 WWE Raw.

The main event of SummerSlam night one saw Seth Rollins cash in his Money in the Bank contract on CM Punk to bring his reign to an end after just 5 minutes. Rollins appeared live to reference his cash in and what’s next for The Visionary.

Additionally, Becky Lynch appeared live after retaining her Women’s Intercontinental Championship, and Sheamus faced Rusev for the third time since Rusev returned to WWE.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves were on commentary for the show.

WWE Raw Results August 4:

  • Following a lengthy video package recapping what took place over the first-ever 2-night SummerSlam, new World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins appeared live with Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Heyman recapped the events of the cash-in, leading to Rollins calling out everyone who doubted him, noting that he always had a plan B. Rollins also declared that his faction is officially known as The Vision. LA Knight interrupted and challenged Rollins to a title match. Although Rollins refused at first, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made the match official for later in the night.
  • Sheamus and Rusev fought to a double count-out.
  • Penta defeated Grayson Waller.
  • New Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair appeared live, but were interrupted by The Judgment Day. Another title match was booked on short notice.
  • Bliss and Flair defeated Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez to retain the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
  • Rhea Ripley spoke with IYO SKY backstage, where SKY stated that Ripley would never defeat her. Additionally, Lyra Valkyria told Bayley to stay away from her after what happened at SummerSlam.
  • Dominik Mysterio defeated Dragon Lee thanks to interference from 3 El Grande Americanos.
  • Becky Lynch spoke about her victory at SummerSlam before being interrupted by Nikki Bella. They both traded insults before Lych brought up Bella previously being in a relationship with John Cena. Lynch laid out Bella to stand tall.
  • Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight ended in DQ. CM Punk and Roman Reigns both tried to get revenge on Rollins, but were all take out by The Vision to close out the show. Reigns was hit with multiple Tsunamis and Rollins hit a stomp onto Knight onto the concrete floor. Punk was speared by Breakker.
