Becky Lynch addressed her actions, the new Paul Heyman faction appeared live and more on WWE Raw.
Following her surprise return at WrestleMania 41, Becky Lynch turned heel on Lyra Valkyria after they lost the Women’s Tag Team Championships to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez just one day after winning them. Lynch explained her actions on Raw.
Additionally, the new faction of Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman appeared live to discuss the shocking end to Raw after Mania that saw CM Punk and Roman Reigns taken out.
Michael Cole and Pat McAfee were the announce team for the show with McAfee speaking out on being attacked by Gunther the previous week.
WWE Raw Results:
- Following the shots of the stars arriving, Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman kicked off the show. The trio were quickly interrupted by Sami Zayn, who accused Rollins of hypocrisy as he was doing what Roman Reigns did. Zayn was given the offer to either join the trio or leave for SmackDown.
- Rhea Ripley vs. Roxanne Perez ended in disqualification when Giulia interfered. Ripley was beaten down until IYO SKY made the save.
- Loga Paul made it clear he wanted a shot at Jey Uso’s World Heavyweight Championship. Uso stated that he worked too hard to give up the title. After Paul mocked Uso for his short Intercontinental Championship reign, Uso hit Paul with a superkick.
- The War Raiders defeated Judgment Day when Penta interfered.
- Paul Heyman gave Zayn the offer of facing the winner of John Cena vs. Randy Orton for the Undisputed Championship if he chose to join the group.
- Becky Lynch confirmed she did attack Bayley. Lynch stated it was revenge for all the times she was attacked since 2019. Lyra Valkyria interupted and agreed to put her Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against Lynch at Backlash.
- A video package played to hype up Rusev’s WWE return.
- Stephanie Vaquer defeated Ivy Nile.
- Pat McAfee spoke about the attack from Gunther the previous week. Guest General Manager Nick Aldis made a match between Gunther and McAfee official for Backlash.
- Sami Zayn refused the offer from Rollins and co. Zayn faced Breakker and was hit with multiple spears. The match was called off and Zayn was hit with a stomp by Rollins.
