Naomi to provide a major update and more will take place on the August 18 edition on WWE Raw.
Women’s World Champion Naomi was originally set to defend her title against IYO SKY on the August 11 episode of Raw, with the winner set to advance to Clash in Paris and put the championship on the line against Stephanie Vaquer. However, at the start of last week’s show, it was announced that Naomi was not cleared to compete and the match was off, sparking major speculation over the reason. As announced on the previous episode of SmackDown, Naomi is scheduled to appear live and provide the fans with an update.
Xavier Woods has felt disrespected by Penta over the past few weeks, with Woods claiming that the masked wrestler has shown complete disregard for his feelings. Looking to get revenge, Woods will face off with Penta on Raw.
After defending her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri on Raw the previous week, Becky Lynch will face a greater challenge as she will once again put the title on the line, this time against veteran Natalya.
