A new era of WWE Raw will be ushered in on January 6th.
One year after the initial announcement was made, Raw will make its highly anticipated debut on Netflix worldwide to begin a new era and mark the first time in the show’s 30-plus year history that it won’t be broadcast on network TV. Given the magnitude of the show and the start of the new era, fans are expecting this to be the biggest show of the new era and potentially the biggest episode of Raw in years.
Ever since CM Punk made his shock return at Survivor Series, Seth Rollins has made it very clear that he wants to see Punk gone from the company. Hoping to make good on his promise, Rollins will face Punk on Raw in what will be Punk’s first WWE TV match in over a decade.
Returning to officially kick off his retirement tour, John Cena will be making his first of many 2025 appearances as fans will be given multiple opportunities throughout the year to say goodbye to the 16-time World Champion.
In what is the only title match announced for the show, Liv Morgan will once again put the Women’s World Championship on the line against Rhea Ripley.
The day before the show, The Rock confirmed weeks of speculation that he would also be in attendance at the event. With Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns also confirmed for the show, fans are expecting a major confrontation to take place at some point.
