WWE Raw Live Results January 19

WWE Raw is live in Belfast, Ireland for the January 19 broadcast.

Two title matches are set to take place on the show. Firstly, CM Punk will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Finn Balor after the first-ever Universal Champion interrupted the Chicago native the previous week. Balor noted that he wanted the crowd on his side for the title match, and chose Belfast as his city of choice. Secondly, Maxxine Dupri is looking to win back the Women’s Intercontinental Championship as she challenges Becky Lynch for the gold.

Muchael Cole and Corey Graves are on commentary for the show.

  • Gunther officially kicked off the show. After gloating about beating AJ Styles last week and reminding the fans of his previous accomplishments, Gunther was interrupted by AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One was unhappy about the result and wanted a rematch at the Royal Rumble, but Gunther only agreed if Styles put his career on the line.
  • Becky Lynch defeated Maxxine Dupri to retain the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. The finish saw Natalya put Lynch’s foot on the rope to prevent Durpi winning the match. Natalya attacked Dupri after the match.
  • Following a recap of the Bron Breakker angle from the previous week, AJ Styles told Adam Pearce he needed time to think things over. Paul Heyman and Pearce met, with Pearce telling Heyman that Breakker is still suspended. Pearce told Heyman he would be ringside for The Vision’s match.
  • Following a backstage segment with The Judgment Day, Jey Uso made his entrance in the crowd and declared his entry for the Royal Rumble.
  • Penta, Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee defeated Logan Paul, Bronson Reed and Austin Theory. Adam Pearce stopped Theory from using the brass knuckles.
  • Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY spoke about their upcoming Tag Title defence against Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez at Saturday Night’s Main Event, followed by the announcement that they would both be part of the Royal Rumble. Morgan warned SKY that Rhea has a habit of betraying her partners, and then announced that both of them and Raquel Rodriguez would be in the Royal Rumble. A brawl ensued with The Judgment Day standing tall.
  • El Grande Americano defeated Je’Von Evans. The match was stopped due to injury on Evans.
  • CM Punk defeated Finn Balor to retain the World Heavyweight Championship
