The next episode of WWE NXT has been pre-taped.
With staff travelling to Saudi Arabia for the upcoming SmackDown and King & Queen of the Ring PLE on May 24th and 25th, the next episode of NXT has been taped ahead of time. Spoilers from the taping have been obtained via Fightful.
The Following Results Took Place At The WWE NXT Taping:
- NXT Champion Trick Williams cut a promo, but he was interrupted by Meta Four. Gallus attacked Williams during the segment, with Je’Von Evans attempting but failing to make the save
- Dante Chen def. Lexis King
- Jaida Parker and Fallon Henley qualified for the NXT North American Women’s Title ladder match at NXT Battleground.
- Joe Coffey will replace Ivar in the North American Title number one contender’s triple threat match. Both Coffey and Wes Lee were declared the winners. Coffey vs. Lee vs. Oba Femi was made official for NXT Battleground.
- NXT Tag Team Championship: Nathan Frazer & Axiom def. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino to retain the titles. The OC and No Quarter Catch Crew both got involved.
- Karmen Petrovic and Natalya def. Shayna Baszler and Lola Vice in the main event.
- After the match, Vice turned on Baszler and dropped her. Baszler got back up and choked her out. Ava came out to make the match between the two official for NXT Battleground. Baszler stated that the match would be an NXT Underground match.
