NXT continued the build to Halloween Havoc on the October 17th show. Multiple number one contenders matches were scheduled to take place.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE NXT:
- Chase U won the Bada Bing Bada Boom Battle Royal to earn a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships
- A triple threat match was scheduled where the winner would get the next opportunity at NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov. Carmelo Hayes, Baron Corbin and Dijak were in the ring when Dragunov announced that the match would now be a Fatal 4-Way, with Trick Williams being the final competitor.
- Karmen Petrovic defeated Jaida Parker in the Women’s Breakout Tournament
- Lyra Valkyria defeated Tegan Nox
- Shotzi defeated Kiana James
- Arianna Grace defeated Brinley Reece in the Women’s Breakout Tournament
- Trick Williams was taken out before the main event, making the match a triple threat once again. Carmelo Hayes won the match to be the number one contender once again.
