The show saw a 23% drop in viewers compared to the September 19th episode, which drew an average audience of 824,000. Some are specualting that Becky Lynch’s absence from the show attributed to the drop in ratings, as the NXT Women’s Champion has brought a boost to Tuesday nights.
The show presented the final build to No Mercy with new matches added. One of the matches will see Dominik Mysterio defend the NXT North American Championship against Trick Williams with Dragon Lee as the special referee. Mysterio was originally scheduled to face Mustafa Ali, but the last-minute change was made due to Ali announcing his departure from the company.
