WWE NXT Great American Bash has now been officially announced and looks set to go head-to-head with AEW All In as part of a massive weekend in July.
As announced via press release on May 27th, the upcoming NXT Premium Live Event will take place on Saturday, May 12th in the afternoon at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia before Saturday Night’s Main Event later that day.
While the start time has not been confirmed for the NXT show, fans are expecting it to run earlier in the afternoon similar to what occurred with NXT Stand & Deliver and WrestleMania Saturday back in April, meaning that it is very likely to run at the same time as AEW’s biggest show of the year. AEW All In will begin at 3 pm EST so that viewers in Europe are able to watch the show at a more regular time as opposed to having to sit through the night.
WWE NXT Great American Bash Joins Weekend Line-Up
During the most recent Saturday Night’s Main Event broadcast on May 24th, WWE announced details for the upcoming Atlanta takeover. Along with the announcement of the Great American Bash and the next Saturday Night’s Main Event, the return of the all-women’s show Evolution was also confirmed.
